i was planning to get the bjcc and the graco but when i went to the store yesterday and they demonstrated how it attaches, the car seat seemed a little shaky in the stroller. the only car seat they said would totally click in with the baby jogger is the maxi-cosi. when they put that one in it didntshake at all. but the reviews i read of the maxi-cosi seemed mixed at best. so, for everyone who has one of the babyjogger city strollers, please let me know know car seat you use with it, and whether you are happy with how it fits, etc.
thanks!!!

I wonder if you were at the same store that told me that! I posted this a while ago and so many people replied that they have the snug ride and it fits great. I also did a lot of googling and found that it really seems to work. I am convinced that the person who showed me how wobbly it fit was just not good at it. AND, the baby jogger web site lists it as compatable, and so does the instruction book. Give me 2 more week and I will let you know how it worked for us :) But I am confident it will work. Oh and I might take off the seat if that makes it better...
But don't get sucked into only the maxi cosi fitting!

Found the post I made - if it helps :) it is here (http://www.windsorpeak.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=310846&highlight=jogger+snugride)
Hope this helps,
Beth

thanks. i just saw the snugride in the bj a couple of days ago so it must be a pretty common problem that they dont demonstrate it the best way. good to hear others have had luck with it though! please let me know how it goes when you get yours!
thanks again.

Just an FYI...you don't HAVE to stick the car seat in the stroller, you know. You can just lie your baby flat in it. You may want to get a snuzzler, sheepskin, or seat pad to make it a little more comfy in the newborn stage.

We did the same thing with DD in our Dreamer Design Slingshot jogger, which had an infant insert. I don't run much, just a lot of fast walking and this worked great for us in the early stages. I didn't start light jogging with her though until she was about 3 mos. old.

Friends of ours used a Graco snugride on the Bob Revolution jogger with no issues at all.

So no adapter is needed with the Graco Snugride? My instructions don't include how to attach the carrier.

yes, an adapter is needed for both the Baby Jogger and the BOB Rev. I just pulled links from random sites.

Here's what we put in the BJCED for our infants http://www.kiddopotamus.com/p_snuzz.php

The BJ lays flat enough for a newborn, but BOB's cust. service recommends the baby be 8 weeks old. My DS slid down when I would walk with him in the BOB at that point.
