DH doesn't like my first name choice (Camille) at all. Remember the diaper deal he tried to make? I agreed with all of you and decided it wasn't worth it. SO, we are now on to options #2 and #3.

Claire Maria (middle name for my grandma who passed away)
or
Olivia (no middle name yet)

I also like Clara but DH doesn't. Big sisters are Julia and Bella and our last name starts with an L.

Please give me your honest opinion!

*ETA- After 6 yrs here, I still do not know how to add a poll to this post! :)

I like both! I'd say wait to see what she looks like with those 2 names

I love the name Olivia! If DD didn't have a friend named Olivia, DD2 might just have that as a name! Would DH be open to using Camille as the middle name? DH nixed my favorite name for DD1, but didn't care if it was her middle name. Maybe that will work?

Oh, and you aren't alone, I still can't figure out the whole poll thing! ;)

What about Olivia Marie?

While I do like both, I'm partial to Claire. It was on my list if DS was a DD, but DH nixed it. I don't know if it matters to you, but Olivia is becoming very popular.

[quote What about Olivia Marie?[/quote]

Marie is actually Julia's middle name. We figured Maria was slightly different enough so that poor Bella didn't feel left out. :)

Also, Maria was my grandma's name and we wanted to honor her. But, Olivia Maria sounds like a mouthful!

I love Claire and Clara. Both are lovely, and Clara goes better with the other girls' names, but both are feminine and would go well with the others. I like Olivia, but it is one of the top 10 girls names right now and I seem to run into an Olivia every where I go (as the Olivia TV show says, it's the #4 name for girls). So while I like it, I also think it may be more over-used than say Clara. Congrats!

PS I LOVE Camille or Camilia - too bad your DH doesn't!

I like continuing the "a" endings with your girls, so Olivia or Clara.
I agree with PP that you can wait to meet her now that you have a small list.
My only gut negative was that Claire Maria is so much like the magazine Marie Claire, but I do love naming after a relative, and I'm sure it would be touching to your family.

I think Claire is beautiful and classic, familiar without being too overused.
Olivia is a great name too, but seems like there are a lot of Olivias these days! She might be "Olivia L." all though school.

What about Olivia Camille?

Olivia is in the top 5 names right now just in case that matters to you. It's my MIL's name (she was named after Olivia De Havilland). Claire is also pretty popular out here too. Who knows maybe your DH will like Camille once he sees your little girl.

I like the name Claire. It reminds me of that old song - O Claire...

IMHO Maria and Marie are too similar to use as two sisters' middle names (leaving the other one out), so I'd try to work with Clara/Claire/Olivia/Camille. Also, have you checked out babynamewizard.com? Great site as well as a fantastic blog group that will give you good advice if you need it. :)

I'm partial to Claire (DD's middle name).

And I LOVE Julia Marie (it's my name!!- even though I've never gone by Julia a day in my life!)

I do agree that having an "a" sound at the end would go well with your other two DDs. I also agree that Maria might be a little too similar to Marie for a middle name.

GL!

Could you use Maria as a first name? Speaking as a Marina, I love the name Maria and think it goes well with Bella and Julia. What about Maria Camille? I love honouring people with names.

I like both options! I actually really love Clara....Oliviva has become pretty common lately, although it is still so pretty.

I know, I never expected my DH to care SOOO much about names as to make it difficult to choose, but he did indeed.

How about Camilla? Camille with the "a" on the end to go with the other girls' names. It might sound different enough fo ryour DH. Other wise, I like Maria Claire.

I'm voting for Claire because Olivia has been pretty popular around here for the past few years. Don't know if that matters to you or not.

DD is named Claire, so that's my top pick. :)

I really like using Maria. DD's middle name is DH's grandmother's middle name
