I have a digital ready tv, but do not have cable. I do have rabbit ears. I was under the impression if my tv was digital ready I would not need a converter box, but so far one local station has switched completely and I am not receiving it at all. Anyone know what I need to do?

Thanks!

Have you re-scanned since the switch? One of our stations dropped analog last night and kept repeating (and repeating) that viewers would need to re-scan when that happened. They had digital signal before, but I guess it's "different" after last night and won't be picked up with the previous scan settings.

On our TV, you do need to have an antenna plugged in. I just screwed a regular coax cable into the antenna spot and coiled it up under the TV (the other end isn't plugged into anything) and it works. We didn't have a set of rabbit ears around, but I guess a coax doubles as an antenna. ;)
