View Full Version : cautiously optimistic: DYLAN HAS BEEN SLEEPING UNTIL 6:30AM!!!

scared to even say it... but we have had several 6am or 6:30am mornings lately. dare i be excited? he has still shown up in our room at 2ish or 4ish... but he hasn't gotten up for the DAY before 6am for a few days! of course, schuyler started waking up t 5:30... but i hope that it only because he was so used to dylan waking him up and it will stop now that he gets to sleep longer. sat and sun he slept until 6:30 or 7am.

please! please! tell me i don't have to keep waking up at 5am every day for the next 14 years! (as in, 4 year old plus 14 years equals 18 years old.)

you don't have to worry about the next 14 years!
once they hit about 12 - they will start sleeping until noon if you let them!
(our 13 year old is woken up every morning by a 4 year old! - never happy about that!)

oh, good times... i lived that experience. my baby brother would come into my room and yell, WAKE UP! IT'S MORNING TIME! and climb into my bed and stare at me until i got up. we are also almost 10 years apart.
