Maclaren Volo-which model year?

I am thinking of purchasing a Volo for some upcoming trips with my almost 2 year old, and I am tempted by the great prices on older models that are available online. Are there any really great innovations in the newest years that make it worth spending the extra $? It looks like they recently starting making the seat removable to be machine washed-that seems like it would be fairly helpful. Does anyone know what year that started?

Someone else may know better- but the only things I found different b/t the 2007 and 2008 models (which I think are still the current style for 2009) besides skin and frame colors are: 1 the mesh on the seat on the 2007 is on the entire seatback, and on the new one it is just down the sides and 2- a different buckle which I thought looked easier on the newer one, but my friend with the newer one doesn't like it.

the 2007 does have a removable/washable seat. I *think* it started that year but could have been 2006. Hope that helps!
