Costco is sold out. I am not even sure what I need to get going with Wii fit and all the accessories and things available on-line are overwhelming. I do not game. Anyone know what I need? Can you recommend a vendor with a good deal/good return policy? Thanks. It's for my husband's bday.

GameStop. My DH found both our Wii and WiiFit there when practically everywhere else was sold out.

You will want more than one Wii-mote. You can get one bundled with Wii Play (http://www.amazon.com/Wii-Play-Remote-nintendo/dp/B000KRXAGE/ref=pd_bbs_1?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1236097582&sr=8-1). The games in Wii Play are designed to help you learn to use the remote and are fun.

Got an email from AMazon this morning that they have Wii in stock, fpr $249.99. NOt sure what this comes with (or about WiiFit) but might be worth looking into.

Try Amazon for both. FYI - there are "warehouse deals" in amazon. Just type this into the search box. Then when you get to that page, type in wii and/or wii games. I just looked at it recently, and there was a Wii Play for 29.99. That's the best I've seen it anywhere. It will say something in the description like, scratch on the box - or cut on the box. I purchased one a little while ago and it was perfect and it comes with a 30 day return policy. If you have prime, it's free ship (& no tax).

HTH!
