National Geographic Kids magazine-reviews?

I'm thinking about getting National Geographic Kids magazine but some of the reviews I read weren't favorable. Lots of complaints about it being mostly ads. Anyone get it at their house? What do you think?

There are a LOT of ads. I was pretty disappointed with it. Sarah loves Ranger Rick though. :)

I suggest "Click". DD1 loves it and NO AD's. We also get "Babybug" for DD2 and she really enjoys the poetry/stories and colorful images.

DD1 is 5 but she has been enjoying it since she was 4. It's a great magazine.

Guess I'll pass on NGKids. Our school is having a magazine drive and they offer smokin' deals for some of the magazines which is why I was considering NGKids. Unfortunately none of the Cricket magazines are available at the cheaper rate.
