View Full Version : Corned beef in slow cooker question - PLEASE HELP ASAP!

So I put my corned beef in the slow cooker on high an hour ago. I came across a recipe that said 6-7 hours on low. And now I'm seeing recipes that say 10-12 hours on low. I obviously should have thought about this last night. So I have 6 hours left until dinner. Do I switch it to low for the remaining 6 hours (e.g. one hour on high, 6 hours on low) or do I cook it for the remaining 6 hours on high (e.g. 7 hours on high)?

Help!

Put it on low. The temp will actually take a while to fall.
