Any tips on deals for lawn care equipment?

We need to buy a mower and a trimmer. The best price I've come across so far on both is through Home Depot with a 10% off coupon. We don't have to buy them today or anything- will there be a big sale coming up, or anything like that I should be waiting for?

I've compared prices at Walmart, Ace, Lowes, Amazon, Kmart and Sears. Anywhere I'm forgetting?

We got a rockin' deal on last year's model at Sears last year - like $100 less, plus some other discount b/c it was a holiday sale. You should talk to a rep there and see what they have in stock.

I've been happy over the years with their equipment, although I haven't been doing my own yard for 8 years or so now.
