Sizes M-XL only still available:

I know LA costumes sometimes show up at Marshalls for around $12-13, but I thought this was a pretty good deal with free shipping and no tax (unless you're in Utah). The store owner was very helpful and the girls love their dresses.

I was going to pick up one for a friend's DD but it looks to me like the sleeves are sewn to the bodice. Am I seeing things? I remember trying on a dress for promthat had the sleeves like that and drove me crazy in the dressing room.

Yeah! Dd is going to be so excited. It's hard to find dress up clothes in bigger sizes.
thank you

Thanks! Maybe I'll even be able to talk one of my DDs in wearing one for Halloween to make it an even better deal... :innocent:

If you're worried about freedom of movement, Becca is active to put it mildly and she has no problems in her dress. She's able to move her arms fine, dance around with them in the air in proper princess fashion, etc. :wink2:

I need sizing help! My DD is an average sized 7 year old. Should I get a size L (age 5-7; size 6-8) or a size XL (age 7-9; size 8-10)? I'm afraid the size XL would be huge, but the size L may not offer any growing room. How do these dresses fit? Would it better to size up or size down? Thanks!!!

Wow! I already received my dresses! Didn't receive a shipping notification, but I only ordered a couple of days ago so it's not that big of a deal.

I think I'll put them in the girl's Easter baskets!

I can't open mine right now as my DDs are floating in and out, but if I get a chance later I'll pull out the Large I got and see if I can give you some measurements.

for those who have received them, are the arms/sleeves stuck on down along the length of the torso of the dress? thanks.

I'm not sure what you mean, but Becca can raise her arms above her head. Does that help?

Gwen is a tallish 6yo, and the size L is exactly the right length to almost touch the floor. It would be too short with a fullness slip. There's a 5" length difference between the L and XL.

ETA: On the item description page, it gives the following measurements:

Small - Measures 27" from shoulder to floor.
Medium Size - Measures 32" from shoulder to floor.
Large Size -Measures 37" from shoulder to floor.
X-Large Size - Measures 42" from shoulder to floor.

yes, thanks! it looked like from the picture that the length of the arms were sewn to the torso-part of the dress, so that the arms could only be going straight down the body. (it looked odd to me, so i'm glad this is not the case!!) this helps alot -- thnk you!!
