Heads up: just saw two McLaren strollers at my local TJMaxx. Both were priced well below retail at about $80ish. One was the umbrella stroller, the other the triumph (I think - should have taken notes lol).

I saw 2 volos at TJ Maxx in Framingham, MA for $80.

Hmm. Is that cheap for a volo? Did they have any ohters? Wonder when they'll go on clearance.

Retail for the Volo is about $110

I was able to find volos for about $50 online. I think sometimes certain older models goes on sale for really cheap at places like babyage. HTH

I just saw a Mac Quest Mod at TJ's for 150.00 and the Volos for 80.00.

One Volo was 2008 (Carbon - the exact one I scoured 7 Targets looking for when they were $25). The other was a striped pattern, but am unsure of the date. The Quest was a 2007.

Do they come with raincovers? Because if they dont' it's not the greatest deal to have, ebay albeebaby and some other sites might be a better place, especially for volo
But still, thanks for posting this! Gotta go check out tjmaxxes!

Yep same here, just went to TJMaxx and they had a Volo for $80 and a Quest Mod Black print (2007) for $150. Not as good a deal as I had hoped! If the Quest were $80, I might have considered it!

I was able to get the Maclaren XLR for $180. It's still at BRU for $350! :cheerleader1:

The volo at our TJM had the multicolor strips, it wasn't the carbon that everyone else has said they saw. There was also a quest or triumph for $129, but I can't remember the color.

it's the navy blue/soft blue one. it was the only xlr. they also had 1 volo in carbon

I ended up getting a Quest Mod today at TJMaxx. The $150 was a good enough deal for me. Mine came with a rain cover in the box. Nothing outside the box indicated the rain cover was inside.

I'm happy with it. Steers easily.

That's nice, b/c the two macs I saw did not have a box, and I did not see a rain cover, although I know for sure one was a volo, and they don't come with rain covers.

I also picked up the Quest Mod. Mine came with the rain cover, which was a total surprise. I really like it and it was a good enough deal for me too.

I am impressed with the XLR find!

Oh, I saw a black/white Volo at another TJ Maxx and it was the newer version with the mesh only on the sides and the new buckle. It was without a box, open on the floor and it had a raincover with it.

No Dice...Checked our local TJ Maxx and they had NO strollers at all. Would love to find an XLR!
