The only difference between the two seems to be the infant insert (which is removable on the II), the shoulder strap is 2 inches longer and the hood is countored on the II.
How big a difference do these additions make? My DD is 8 months, so I don't need the infant insert now, so will it be in the way and cause her discomfort or cause extra warmth for when I take her out in the summer if I got the Beco I instead of the Beco II???
