S/H is $9.99...says the stroller retails for $399? Tried to do a search on this but not many 2007's on sale--seems like in 2008 they expanded the City line to the Mini and the Elite, so this one is the predecessor. Any feedback and if this is a good deal??

Added link to the deal....in case anyone's interested!

If it is the 2 panel canopy version, I'd pass. The 2007.5 model started coming with 3 panels that actually shade the child a LOT better.

Quite a few moms on here have that version, I think. So...the things that have improved on the single that may be of interest to you might be that in 2009 the single got suspension in the wheels. Probably not worth the $300 jump.

IIRC, the 2007.5 and the 2008 BJCC are basically the same except for the colors.

I think last time it was that price on a popular website some people here scooped it up, maybe some got out of stock orders, etc. Do some searching for that thread if you can. If the suspension doesn't matter to you, I'd go for it.

eta: old thread about it http://www.windsorpeak.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=310967&page=2&highlight=baby+jogger+city+amazon

thanks so much for the feedback! I'm still debating this one...I don't really know if I'll use a jogging stroller, but I love the price on this one. My husband is convincing me that we don't need it....so i posted the link so hopefully you all will scoop them up and make up my mind for me when they go out of stock LOL....

We have the 2007.5 and use it for daily walks. Love it. We also have the BJCM as our car stroller. Can't remember what we paid for the 2007.5 two years ago, but that price seems pretty decent to me. I doubt there are any new features that would be worth it for you to pay twice as much for with the latest BJ models.

This one wouldn't be for actual jogging, but for walks outside it would be great. I have a double of the 2008 and it is an awesome stroller. You should just get it if you don't have a good walking stroller.

:yeahthat:

We have a 2007.5 single that I adore. That's a great price for it...my DH *loves* that stroller. If you ever take walks outside or trips to zoos/amusement parks, it can't be beat. And the fold is awesome. I love it so much that I just bought a 2008 BJ City Elite Double to use at the zoo this spring/summer.

I'm still showing it as in stock? Were you looking at the black one, or another color?

It shows in stock but by the time you go through the check out it shows as none available. I posted this on SD too and most got out of stock messages, and one order went through but got cancelled, so the deal is dead anyway!

I had tried buying this stroller a couple of days ago and it was OOS then. If anyone else sees a similar stroller at a great deal please post or e-mail me.
I was also debating on a Red Castle Whizz or Easywalker (but I heard those are larger).

Thanks!

I tried to buy it too. Would have been an awesome deal and perfect timing!

Buyer Beware:

This is my lesson learnt from a posting here a while ago about a Maisy toybox sold by Babyage through Amazon. Don't get your hopes too high about getting the stroller as this is most likely an error. If they do ship you something it will be something else, in my case a dinky shelf rather than the toybox, and plead that it was a price mistake.

I can't find the baby jogger stroller itself on the Babyage.com for this advertised price. That's already not a good sign.

Not all that Babyage sells is wrongly advertised. I bought a wonderful stokke sleepbag that Melanie posted for a great price. But it is probably more prudent to do the shopping on Babyage itself, rather than through Amazon.

Canada, I wondered too when I couldn't find the deal on Babyage's website.

Does anyone know if you can use BRU's 15% off coupons online?

I'm fairly certain they have an online code on their 15% off coupons. The shipping costs usually are too high to make ordering online from BRU a good deal.
