st maarten 7 days help

DD is still on alimentum so can I bring an unopened can(powder) on the plane or does it have to go w/my luggage?

Also any other ittems I should be packing. I have never traveled w/dd and have never been to st maarten.

any advice would be great.

www.tsa.gov tells you all about flying with kids. Powder isn't an issue on planes, only liquids and gels in carry-ons.

Just FYI, customs may make you open the can. People have used formula cans to smuggle drugs so they *may* be viewed suspiciously, especially on flights to/from the Caribbean area. But it isn't a liquids/TSA issue.
