Mostly! I went for a follow-up today and my OB said as long as the bleeding has stopped I don't have to stay on bed rest. I can slowly resume normal activity, but no heavy lifting or cleaning- woo hoo, no vacuuming! If I start to bleed I have to call immediately and go back to square one. Hopefully that won't happen!

She still doesn't know where the bleeding came from, only that it wasn't from my uterus or cervix.

sigh...relief!

Yay, what a relief for you! Despite what other people may think, bed rest is only fun for about half a day.

Phew! Now you can take it easy but still do the things you need to do (like rock your DD to sleep if she needs it). :)

I was waiting to hear! Congratulations on your "parole" and enjoy being back to semi-normal... and enjoy the lack of vacuuming, carrying groceries, etc. too! :)

Yay YOU! Yay BABY!!! I'm going to learn from your recent events and apply them to myself. As much as we don't have the money right now, I'm going to call and set up a housekeeper for every 2-3 weeks and learn how to order my groceries online so DH can pick them up. It just isn't worth the risk.

Remember...DO take it easy!

Awesome! Glad to hear you'll be able to rock your dd and make sure ds doesn't go to bed crying! My heart just went out to you when I read that post.

My mom and brother left this morning. I had told DS that I was in bed because my belly got a little hurt and I needed to make sure Baby C stayed safe. I've been moving around a bit more the past couple days, but I guess with my mom and bro leaving he realized we'd be on our own.

DS: You can come downstairs now?
Me: Yes
DS: Baby C doesn't have to stay in bed all day anymore?
Me: No, but I still have to be careful.
DS: So, Baby C can get out of bed AND come downstairs with you?

I love how he thinks she's somehow separate from me already. Too funny!
