View Full Version : Skip Hop Deluxe Duo or Dash Deluxe

I am due in May 09 and will have a 22 month old daughter -- I'm looking for a diaper bag that will hold enough stuff - I think I want to go with a Skip Hop brand since I like the idea of sticking on my Graco tandem stroller - anyone know which holds more stuff???

I think that moms tend to pack less in the duo because of the vertical organization. The horizontal organization of the Dash allows you to see/grab more and I think it gets packed fuller. I do prefer the Duo myself though, hated the Dash!!! And I found I could pack the Duo really full because it did not have the flap. I guess overall it is a personal choice, partly based on how you pack.

You know I called Skip Hop and they recommended their tote - which I really like but it doesn't go over the stroller - which is why I went with them over the others...

I'm so confused - I'm not neat at all - and my daughter's diaper bag was always a mess which is why I wanted something to try and keep me organized -- I'm really leaning towards the duo because I like that it closes at top - but I"m just so torn ;)

I personally love my dash! i love the messanger style and the size keeps me frmo overpacking, which I know I would do. But everything (including my purse) fits in it easily and well.

I have a 27 mo old and a 16 mo old. Could not live without my Duo! Plenty of room and love that I can attach it to the stroller. It's definitely bigger, but doesn't feel like you're carrying a small suitcase of anything like that.

Dash fan here. I like the horizontal aspect. I can see everything in there easily. Better yet, DH can see everything in there, which is SO worth it!!!

They have nice features and are lower in cost. They have a tote (http://www.target.com/Spark-Skip-Hop-Diaper-Bag/dp/B001U1GGDS/sr=1-2/qid=1237743839/ref=sr_1_2/175-6596362-9587159?ie=UTF8&frombrowse=0&index=target&field-browse=1038590&rh=k%3Aspark&page=1) similar to the duo (long messenger strap, similar organization) but it also has tote handles and the stroller straps. It is about $30. No light interior though.

Oh and both the Duo and Dash can be worn messenger style.
