I am so D.O.N.E. with my brother

He played a very very cruel joke on the family a few days ago. Not funny at all. (background: my brother is a hermit by choice. He doesn't speak to us unless he has to and treats us badly mostly I believe to boost his own self-esteem (one person in every generation of my family has this personality--aka my uncle who no one speaks to anymore). Anyway, my mother is writing him out of her will ENTIRELY. The jerk really screwed up and he is getting what he deserves!

:grouphug: I'm so sorry! You don't think it was an April Fool's joke gone horribly wrong? (Or is it one of those things so egregious that it wouldn't matter...) Anyway, I'm sorry that your brother has made life so hard for himself and everyone else.

Nope. It was a joke at the expense of his girlfriend (who the family has never met). I can't get into the details, but it was horrible what he did to my mother specifically. He just laughs like it was nothing. If I was his girlfriend though, I would walk out right now.
