Anyone who owns either of these have any feedback on which to go with? DH is an experienced cyclist and he would have it on his bike. http://www.ibertinc.com/

Thanks!

We have the ibert and LOVE it. That said, there are a few things I didn't like about it.

#1, DD would fall asleep on long rides and there is NOWHERE for her head. I'd end up holding her head against me for the last 10 minutes of the ride and it's NOT easy.

#2 I am short and had a hard time getting the balance just right. I did tip over once and scratched myself up pretty bad, but she was fine.

I highly recommend a bike trailer over a seat. JMHO.

Also, if your DH has a bike with rear suspension or a unique frame, many of the bike seats won't work well. Trailers are easier to hook up to a variety of bikes. YMMV

DH doesn't want to haul an extra 100 pounds. If we have a trailer, I anticipate that DD1 will want to ride in it (50lbs) with DD2 (25 lbs) instead of riding her own bike. We don't have sidewalks where we live and the roads are too dangerous (speed) to ride on. We would use it on bike trails and when we camp. Ideally, DD1 will loose her training wheels soon and just ride her own bike.

I used a Copilot with my DD when she was about 14 months old. She really liked it and it was easy for me to balance with her. I recommend the CoPilot. Also check Amazon to price compare.

We had the WeeRide Kangaroo Carrier that we loved (Well - DH and DS did! - I wasn't coordinated enough ;) ) http://www.weeride.com/Kangaroo-Center-Mounted-Child-Bicycle-Carrier
