When does Coinstar have promotions?

I have a bunch of change I need to put through a Coinstar. I looked around Christmas, and they had some good promotions going on (eg, get and extra $10 on a gift card for every $50). Does anyone know how often they have promotions? Their website says they dont' have any going right now.

I live in the Southeastern PA and we have a bank called TD Bank (formerly Commerce Bank) that does the same thing for free! You don't even need an account there. It's a machine in their lobby called "penny arcade" and you put the coins in yourself, it prints a receipt that you take to the teller for cash. No fees at all. I've never had an account, or even asked. I would check around to see if any banks in your area have the same deal? I've been doing this for 2-3 years with them and at lunchtime sometimes can get behind a person or two cashing in piggy banks!

Our bank (fifth third) has a free change counter in the lobby. No need to do Coinstar.
