Simplicity crib/lead?

Does anyone know if this crib contain lead? My lo ate the paint of the railling Even though it had a cover and I don't know if this will affect her. If you remember some toys made in China had lead, but I don't know if this is the same for cribs. I hope my question makes sense...tx!

My understanding is that the cribs were recalled for trapping babies, not for lead paint.

However, if it were my child, I would be concerned about any eating paint -- at least enough to talk to the pediatrician.

ETA: I would also make sure the crib is not part of the simplicity recall, these cribs are more immediately dangerous than lead paint exposure -- see the link above.

Both my kids are beavers when it comes to their cribs. With DS1 we had the simplicity. I asked my ped and she wasn't to concerned. You can always ask to have a lead test if your worried.
