Hi:

I have a whole house humidifier in my home. I live in MN.
Do I still need a humidifier for the baby room?
What type of humidifier do you recommend:
1. Cool mist
2. Warm mist
3. Ultrasonic.

Thanks

We have a whole home humidifier installed on our furnace. We do also have a cool mist humidifier that we've used a few times in DDs room when she's had a really bad cold with congestion. We used it more often last winter (she was 6mos at the time). This winter she was scared/bothered by the hum and the glowing light of the on/off dial, so we didn't use it as often.

We have a house humidifier but when the twins or the boys have a cold I use an additional warm mist humidifier in their room. Of course, this past winter when it was brutally cold and very dry Sisi's eczema really flared up so I used the humidifier for most of the month of January. This is the one we have.

It's not bad, but we could probably use a stronger one in their room.
