It seems I should be cutting back on her bottles. She always drank little, often. She's been doing 4 oz bottles since probably three months. Occassionally, 5 oz. So since 3 months, she's pretty much been drinking 7-8 4oz bottles. Since switching to whole milk, I'd say she's down to about 6 bottles (4-5oz each). She does not like water. Though the other night, i gave her an ice cube to play with and she seems to like sucking on it.

Should I be thinking about cutting back on the milk?

She gets 3 meals on solids and usually couple of snacks/finger foods during the day.

Our ped said to give DS about 16-24 oz of whole milk a day (or the equivalent of milk, yogurt, cheese). The rest he can have in water and diluted juice.

My ped. said about the same thing as pp.....no more than 20 oz a day...so dd gets about 5 oz with each meal and either milk or water with snacks, depending on how much she drank with her meals, or if I give her yogurt with a meal or snack.
ped said too much milk can interfear with dd's bodies ability to absorb iron.
