2 sided mattresses

I thought I was all set to buy my newborn's crib mattress when a friend told me about 2 sided mattresses and a whole new world opened up to me ha ha. I was wondering what anyone has to say about these and if anyone has any recommendations. Thanks!

Are you talking about the "newborn" side and the "toddler" side? We bought one - was all set to follow the BB book's recs about getting a cheap mattress and got suckered into buying that one when we bought the crib. But, for what it's worth, we like it. Have nothing to compare it to since it's the only mattress we have on a crib, but we like it. It seems to work - DD sleeps through the night and has since she was 8 weeks old. :) Not sure it's the mattress but we'll take whatever we can get!
