My goodness I can not find a smaller straw cup to save my life! DD does okay with the 9oz one I *was* able to locate but I have to fill it half way so she can successfully lift it (she's still perfecting the drinking from a sippy thing). I swear I've seen them but WHERE oh WHERE for art thou????

Combi makes a small straw cup that I just picked up today. It's a bit more than other cups I've seen but the straw is very soft, which I was looking for. Nuby also makes a small one with a straw (a bit harder and it's more difficult to suck up than the Combi--but it's a non-spill; Combi spills a little if tipped over). Take n Toss make straw cups but it's not spill proof but it's very light (the straw is really hard though if that matters to you.)

I just cut down the straight straw for Playtex cups (the lids are interchangeable). The Playtex straw cup lids fit on the 6oz Playtex Sipsters (http://www.playtexbaby.com/Products/ProductDetails.aspx?id=1032). Also, the Take N Toss straws/lids work with their smaller cups.

I like the sound of this Combi one! Easy to draw liquid and small? Sign me up!

Where did you find it? I don't think I've ever seen a cup made by Combi around here........

I bought the Take N Toss small sippies and the larger straw cups and just cut the straw down and put it on the small sippie.

So *that's* what the pp meant! Why didn't I think of that?! So all Playtex lids fit on all Playtex cups? What about Gerber?

Yes, the lids of the Take N Toss cups are interchangeable.

Yes, sorry I wasn't clear before. I meant that the T&T straw lids fit on other T&T cups! The straw cups (http://www.learningcurve.com/product/detail/Y1157A2?locale=en_US) are 10oz, but the lids & straws can be used (I don't bother to trim them) with the 7oz cups (http://www.learningcurve.com/product/detail/Y1300A3?locale=en_US) as well (these cups usually come with sippy lids). You could even trim the straws to fit the 5oz Little Learner cups (http://www.learningcurve.com/product/detail/Y1192A3?locale=en_US).

We also used Playtex Straw Cup lids (from the Insulator (http://www.playtexbaby.com/Products/ProductDetails.aspx?id=1036) or Quickstraw (http://www.playtexbaby.com/Products/ProductDetails.aspx?id=1037) cups) on smaller Playtex cups like the 6oz Sipster (http://www.playtexbaby.com/Products/ProductDetails.aspx?id=1032) or 6oz Insulator (http://www.playtexbaby.com/Products/ProductDetails.aspx?id=1034). Snip the long, straight straw to the desired length and voila, a smaller straw cup.

Extra Playtex straws are available here (http://www.playtexstore.com/cgi-bin/item/TB50001).

HTH :)
