DD1 is fascinated with them lately and the only books I have that even mention them are for Groundhog's Day.
Anyone have a recommendation?
TIA.

Tana Hoban (a photographer with a lot of wordless kid's books) has one called Shadows and Reflections. My library has it - I haven't checked to see if still in print. It is a photo book - not a story.

That Asch person who has a series about a bear and a bird and the moon has one about a shadow. I will look to see if I can find the name (there is one called MoonCake and one called MoonDance - I can't think of the shadow one).

All I can think right now, but I know there are more!

I prefer the Hoban one, but I am not sure I would buy either. I would check the library first. My girls are a bit younger than yours and the bear one is pretty young. But still worth a look.

Both of those amazon links had lots of other suggestions from other customers. HTH!

Thank you, these look like good ones to buy for my little one as well :D

Thank you! Some of the amazon suggestions look good too.

The library is one of our greatest friends but with three I need to go with titles in hand to even have a chance of finding what I am looking for. :wink2:

Does your library reserve books? Ours will send them from any library in the system to your home branch and hold them on a shelf up at the front. You can search and reserve them on-line. Makes life soooo much easier!

Good luck!

We just borrowed a book called Shadowville. http://www.amazon.com/Shadowville-Michael-Bartalos/dp/0670861618/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1241036468&sr=8-1

There's also Bear Shadow - we got it from the Scholastic catalogue last year.
