I don't wear a lot of jewelry, but I really like the charms with names on them and birthstones. Someone linked to this one: (1) http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=24029840 (http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=24029840) and I really like it a lot. I do worry that the 3 will end up on top of each other and bug me :).

I found these that I like, too. Any opinions? I know I have to make the decision, but opinions are good!

I'm not sure what diameter would work best either. I know it'll be late for Mother's Day, but DH says to go ahead and pick which one and get it (he'll never do paypal, let alone make an etsy account!).

Thanks.

I'm getting one of her's, not sure if I'll go with the discs on top of each other or side by side. DH likes the ones on top so you can always see the names. You can order a longer necklace too -- I saw a mom with one of these necklaces at DL recently and it must have been the 16" one. It looked kinda funny, like a choker.

Here is what I can't choose between:

http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=23574587

http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=24474677

http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=23871359

SHe does 20" chains (a few $$ more) and has been very prompt in replying to my convos. I like the dreamweaver font (the one in the last listing).

Not sure if I helped any, LOL, giving you more choices....

Yeah, thanks. More choices is not what I need! I like the 2nd one a lot of yours. She doesn't seem to have a 3 layer one though. I would get 18 or 20 inch chain. 16 would barely go around my neck.

Hmmm, I just found this one: http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=24110148

So, you could probably do something like this: http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=24473278

But with the top, non-name disc in copper instead of silver. Hmmmm. Kinda like that.

ETA: she definitely has the 3-layer ones. I saw a 4 layer one on her site, but it might be sold.

ETA: here's a 4 layer one -- 3 names and a heart: http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=24480991 I still kinda like the heart/top one in copper. Hmmmm.

I like the third one, it looks a little more hip than the others, but not so trendy that it will look dated in a few years. My second choice would be #4.

I like the first one :)

Here is a picture of the sizes of the pendants: http://ny-image0.etsy.com/il_fullxfull.65842725.jpg

She has various charms, not just the ones posted in photos. For example, she has a single heart charm. Or you can do a stamped heart.

I dunno. I can't make up my own mind, let alone help you! LOL. I keep wavering between the stacked discs, sliding discs and the dangling ones (sweet pea).

I'm getting one from the woman Bubbaray linked to in post #3, w/a name charm, a symbol charm and birthstone w/an 18" chain :)

As for the OP's original question, I like these two:
http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?ref=vl_other_2&listing_id=24470230
and
http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=24249715&ref=sr_list_8&&ga_search_query=hand+stamped+necklace+birthstone&ga_search_type=handmade&ga_page=5&includes%5b%5d=tags&includes%5b%5d=title

the best. I don't like the type of metal (not flat) in choice #3, but that's just me.

Yeah, since Melissa pointed out flat metal of the same style, I like that better, too.

It seems more like a single charm or the layered look. I think I'll go with that, but am still browsing!

I think I like option #3 the best :applause:

I really wanted this for Mother's Day, but even though I hinted STRONGLY to DH he said something about giving me the flip-flops I ordered myself as a Mother's Day gift.

I like #3 too.
You're DH sounds like mine. I just said something about Mother's Day and he said having the house painted was my MD present!!!! :( I think I'm going to order a necklace for myself but can't decide if I should use DD's nickname or real name (Beth vs. Elizabeth)

I added numbers, but didn't have them at first. By #3, do you mean this one? http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?ref=vl_other_2&listing_id=24470230

My DH says it looks too much like hardware (a washer). He tends to ruin things for me :).

Yes, that's the one I meant. That sounds like something my DH would say. It's so annoying when he says something to me and totally spoils my other-wise good taste. I can't get it out of my head once he has shared his less favorable opinion.
