I know that you all know way more about this than I do....I'm looking to see if there is a simple, inexpensive, safe, and durable swing set/play set that my children can play on in our backyard. My girls are 6 and 3 and I would love something for them that had 2 swings and maybe a slide or something. Our former neighbor had something that looked perfect but they moved out and the new owner gave it away to another neighbor (sob!) My little DD's birthday is next week and her party is in 3 weeks. I'd love to be able to get this for her birthday, but I have to be mindful of price. I hoped that you all could point me in the right direction.

Thanks!

Do you have craigslist in your area? If so, I'd definitely recommend checking that out. I bought one for $250 but have seen some even better deals (with more stuff) in the last two weeks since our purchase.

You don't happen to live in Kansas City, do you?

You could try a build your own thing if your DH is handy! They supply the plans and the swings/hardware etc and you buy your own lumber of choice from Home Depot or wherever. Here is one with a clubhouse, slide and 2 swings

I've heard some of the Disney sets from Home depot aren't bad and the price is better than say the Sams Club or Costco sets!

Other than that I would watch Craigslist in your area and respond asap.... the good ones go fast!
