I placed an order with Babyage for DD's birthday gift. They sent me an email saying their company needs additional verification. I called this morning and they ask me for my birth date and last 4 digits of SS number. Huh? I said you can have my birth date but I'm not giving any part of my social (never do). Babyage said if I don't they will cancel my order. I call my credit card company and ask them if this is normal for a company to ask for SS. Credit card company said they wouldn't have my SS # on file so it was pointless for them to ask for it. When I called Babyage back and told them what credit card company said and told them I wasn't giving SS info - they cancelled the order!!!!!!!!
So save yourself some frustration and DON'T order from Babyage!!!
