A small peek at my Avon Walk for Breast Cancer adventure!!

Sat was TOUGH! we got stuck in the back and went sooo slowly that it took TEN hours of walking to finish the marathon! whew! the hills were intense in DC and the sidewalks were narrow and often bumpy! but we MADE IT!!!

Sun was FUN! it rained and rained and rained but we had a GREAT time. we totally rallied after a long day on sat to have fun walking, talking, singing, laughing and remembering what we had to be grateful for!

if you are thinking about trying one, DO IT! my team will be in charlotte, nc this Oct to cheer you on as rest stop mile 17!!

Wow!! Looks amazing Liza....I am in awe. I did my 5K last Saturday & thought that was good. I can't imagine doing yours....maybe one day!!

Congrats! I haven't done a walkathon in so long, I can't imagine walking that long a distance.
