I have an after factory dvd player installed in my car. It's one of the flip down screens made by Myron and Davis. I had it installed at an audio store. We've had minor problems with it from the beginning but lately it has really gotten bad and is really annoying. 9 times out of 10 you turn it on put in a DVD and it shoots it back out and says error disc. When this first started happening I thought the DVDs were scratched, but it happens with brand new DVDs too. I have gotten the laser lens cleaner and done that several times, didn't help at all. What ends up happening is the DVD will eject several times and eventually it will read the disc and start playing, sometimes it does it a couple of times and others it will eject 20 times and never work.
I've searched online for troubleshooting, etc, and I can't find anything. Just thought maybe someone else here has a player or might know whats wrong with it. I would take it back to the audio store but we moved out of state.
