DH got a job today!!!!

It's been three months since DH was laid off.

Congrats!!! 3 months is pretty quick to find a new job, that's great.

We feel very lucky. We have friends that have been out of work for 6 months or more without even so much as an interview. And of course I saw all the horror stories on the tv about people going over a year and nothing. Right after DH lost his job I saw an article on CNN.com that said you should expect it to take 4 months to find a job with a salary of 40k and one month for every 10k over that.... Needless to say it freaked me out. It has been a very emotional trying time for our whole family. I am very proud of my DH who after days, weeks, months of endlessly applying for jobs, managed to stay calm and positive.
