This place is always a wealth of info. when if comes to women's and kid's stuff, so I'm going to test you on men's stuff now! ;)

My DH likes to wear really soft clothes when lounging around the house. I was wondering as I folded laundry today, if there are any good brands of men's undershirts out there that are super dooper soft? A softer, "higher end" version of Hanes IYKWIM?

ETA: How about bamboo shirts--has anyone tried any specific brands of men's bamboo T's?

TIA for any recommendations!

JCP's Stafford stuff is very soft, and not too badly priced if you catch a sale.

My DH will wear nothing but Brooks Brothers undershirts, and he has forever. They are very soft, and since they are his "uniform" 7 days a week around the house, they get a LOT of use and hold up well. My parents each got him a pack for Christmas last year to replace the ones that were a decade old, but I'd buy them if they went on sale.

NOT these (look at the price!!!): http://www.brooksbrothers.com/IWCatProductPage.process?Merchant_Id=1&Section_Id=491&Product_Id=1252344&Parent_Id=226&default_color=White

Nordstrom brand undershirts are soft. My husband wears those, and they hold up well too. They're thicker than other undershirts.

Wow! And my favorite part is you're supposed to line dry them.

Costco's t-shirts are soft. They are also longer and thicker than Hanes.

Nordstrom's. And I think they go on sale at the men's sale in June, coming up next month...

:yeahthat:

My tall DH loves the Kirkland undershirts. They are soft and thick and LONG enough--and they hold up really well IMO.

Thanks for this thread. I bought some for DH recently and the length really shrunk after a few washings. Maybe we'll try Kirkland next.

I love this thread, too. I never would have thought to ask but very tall DH always complains about his undershirts not being long enough. Now I have something new to pick up for him at Costco! :)

DH has a couple of OLD "BYC" shirts that he loves. They are supersoft and a little stretchy (but all cotton, I think). I haven't found them anywhere and have been looking for YEARS.
