Thinking of Samuel and the Backus family today

And I am sure many of you are as well. I have continued to follow Jen's journey since Samuel's passing last year. What an incredible mother, wife, and child of God she is.

I was just coming to post about remembering Samuel today. You said everything I was thinking. Samuel touched my life like no one else ever has. Jen is a total inspiration to me. I am a better person for "knowing" them. Today is such a bittersweet day and I will be thinking of them all day and shedding tears of sorrow and joy.

Bless you, sweet Samuel, and thank you. Your life was a precious gift from God.

Every time I read her posts, I am in awe of her strength. I have a friend IRL who lost her child this past year. Even though she and Jen have never met, Jen has provided her with strength and courage. She is a blessing to us all.
