My mom passed away 9 years ago this month, and I still incredibly miss her every day. It will also be the first MD with my wonderful DD. I will focus on what a joy she is, but I just wish my mom was here to see her. She would have been so thrilled with her grandchild that looks so much like her.

 That must be really hard, but really wonderful you can see her in your daughter's face!

3 weeks ago, it was 4 years ago that my mom died. She knew I was pregnant with Cha Cha before she died but never met the twins. She used to say she'd love for me to have twins so I'm sure she would have been overjoyed.

 My mom passed away six years ago when I was pregnant with my second baby. I miss her all the time but especially on Mothers Day.

My mom died 14 years ago next week. (((HUGS))) for all of you who know how this feels.

Hugs all 'round.

My mom died just 6 months ago. This is my first mother's day without her.

As a bonus, my MIL is here. <sigh>

I am not entirely sure how I will get through Mother's Day. I think I will have to have a nap/time out at some point.

Hugs to all of us in the "I've lost my mom club". :22: It's not a club you want to join, that's for sure. My mom was killed 3 1/2 years ago by a drunk driver. She was an incredible mom and the main thing that has helped me to get through is to realize that she gave me all the skills I needed while she was here. I pray that I can be half the mom to my new DD that she was for me.
