Here are my two little ones. :)
Things are still pretty hectic but I am trying to relax and adjust. Anyone have advice on how to get DD to listen to me now without having to physically moving her to do something I want her to do? ;) That is seriously my biggest stress right now!
And I'm not sure if anyone remembers my anxieties about delivering but it all worked out luckily. My Dr. was still on vacation, but I had a great nurse and I feel like she helped things go more as I wanted them too. The Dr. who was filling in for my OB was literally only there with me for about 10 min total time.
Each day seems to be a bit better in regards to BF, sleeping, and just adjusting in general.
I'll check in when I can!

Hi there! Just wanted to check in to say that DS arrived on Monday, May 4th at 11:34 am.
I was about 3cm dilated when I got to the hospital at around 4:30 am with contractions about 5-6 min apart. I knew it might have been a bit early but I waited way too long with DD and I'm glad we got there when we did this time. Things progressed nicely and the only complication was that the cord was around DS's neck. But he was out in 3 min and about 5 pushes so everything turned out fine.
I am feeling a bit overwhelmed, but I'm in overall good spirits. BF is pretty painful with engorgement and wrecked nipples but I am hanging in there! And DD has a cold so on top of my worries about the baby getting sick, it is breaking my heart to have to push her away when she wants to kiss and hold her new brother.
But I know things will turn around soon!

so cute! DS really acted up after we brought DD home. My parents were doing whatever with him while we were in the hospital with DD. When they left we re-did 1-2-3 magic and started timing him out for all kinds of stuff and the difference was huge. We started on a Sat so DH was home and were just consistant with the behaviors that we wouldn't tolerated. By Mon he was a different kid! Happy Mother's day!

As for life w/two, try to go with the flow the best you can and relax. I was a wound up stress bunny after #2 and just have faith it will work out, everyone will be OK. Relax and you don't have to do it all, not everything needs to be done perfectly. Enjoy your new babe and whole family!!
