Baby naps

DD won't go down for naps during the day even though she is obviously tired (rubbing her eyes, yawning, being cranky). Any ideas?

How old is your DD? Mine is 7 months, and when she was smaller I would try anything to get her to nap. Car, stroller, swing....after a while she got the hang of it. Now she naps on a fairly regular schedule. I think some babies need more soothing to relax and go to sleep than others.

Post how old your DD is and I bet the awesome parents on the board will chime in!

Have you tried making sure your baby is in a dark place and maybe do white noise? What about overstimulation during the day (too many errands, toys, noise, etc...)?
