Morning! I think I need to get DS a soft crib toy that he'll want to play with when he gets up before I want to : ) Something not-noisy that will keep him busy. Any ideas? Thank you!

Have you thought about a taggie toy of some kind? My girls spend a surprising amount of time with those.

The Taggies Grabby Elepant (http://www.amazon.com/International-Playthings-E00906-Taggies-Elephant/dp/B000H8ESQC) is really cute. It does have a chiming rattle, but is quite soothing, and when the little mouse is pulled, it vibrates.

Yeah, we've had that elephant almost since he was born. I don't think he finds taggies all that interesting for some reason. Now, Mom's magazines and tissue paper, that's a whole other story.

Oh! I should have said, he's 10.5 mos.

Celeste the sun by Lamaze was popular with both of my boys, but I don't remember if they still liked it at 10.5 months. How about some stacking cups (not soft and won't stack in bed, but babies still like to mouth and handle them)?
