IKEA Narvik crib RECALLL

Hi !
Does anybody know about the recall that Ikea did on the Narvik in 2001 ?
I found a post on this website that was written in 2001. I just got this crib from a friend, but nobody seems to know what was the recall, not even IKEA.
Maybe I should buy a new one....

It seems from the older post that the slats were too far apart. You can easily check this by seeing if a soda can will slip between the slats. If it does, you definitely want to consider getting a new crib.
