First: I am currently spraying the kids with Off:Family care but am wondering what others use that is safe for kids, especially with sensitive skin. We tried some from Avon but it gave DD a rash....

Second: We have a bug zapper for the back yard that does a decent job (see link below). I am wondering of anything that can be done to repel mosquitos that hang out by our front door that go nuts when we get home from a trip. I'd rather not buy another large unit but they are so bothersome by the front door that we run in as fast as possible and they still get to us......

TIA for any great suggestions. I live in NJ so mosquitos are pretty bad here!

This is what we have for the backyard. I'd say it's just ok...

I'm in search of Badgers anti-bug balm.....I've heard from other moms on the board that it is awesome......I haven't found it at a bm store yet...so I may just have to buy it online somewhere......
I use to live in Western Mass. and our backyard backed up against some major woods and a small creek so mosquitos were the size of a small bird.......and I remember my parents use to spray some stuff in our yard that was suppose to create a barrier to keep the "small birds" away.......wasn't full proof....and probably not so enviromentally friendly....but it sure made a big difference! Maybe there is something like that you can buy.....maybe lowes or a similar place has some products that can help.

I've never tried them but those Off clip on things look kinda cool... I wonder if they really work?

Avon Skin So Soft--body lotion and oil, but the oil works better.
One thing that I do not miss when living in the EC.

I just bought this at Sprouts. But the ULTA near me has it ( I know because I was recently on a trek to find their sunscreen and went to all the places their website listed near me). And REI has it too.

My Ulta does not have it..total bummer...at least not with their other badger products and they had no clue when I asked about it......
No REI near me...do they offer free shipping codes ever?
Haven't seen it at whole food either....though they carry a ton of their other stuff....
