Does anyone who lives in a high humidity area do anything special for storing finger foods that might be sensitive to moisture in the air?

The package of freeze-dried mango that I left open on the kitchen counter for a day is kind of sponge-y in texture now. I won't be doing that again! And I'm wondering if I should storing the other freeze-dried fruit and assorted Gerber and Happy Bellies puffs that I have any differently. Does anyone have any experience with this?

I keep them in the cupboard and they are fine.

I don't have to do this for day-to-day eating where I live, but for longer-term storage, I keep my freeze-dried fruit in the freezer.
