it looks like the lowest weight rating for huggies/pampers swim diapers is 16 pounds. what do you do if your baby is smaller?

i've been using them for a month and my baby is still not 16lbs but they work fine. she wears sz 2 regular diapers

In my opinion the swim diapers run very small. DD is 2 year old and 28ish lbs. She fits into the large swim diaper. The medium doesn't even cover her rear end.

Have you considered getting a reusable one? They have them at Target and on cloth diapering sites. They run small , medium and large and work great.

I used the small ones for my baby when she was only about 13lbs and we had no accidents. I actually did not know, until I read it here, that they only hold stool so I got really lucky that she didn't pee on the way to our Mommy and Me swim class!
