My DS has his 18mo check next week. Immed after the appt, we are heading off on a 8hr drive to go to a wedding. We will be gone 5 days. I realized he will probably be getting his MMR (they didn't have any last visit) and maybe some other shots. At 15mo, his H flu shot gave his a horrible fever and he ended up with a double ear infection.
Any experience with whether I can expect a sick/unhappy baby after shots? Should I put off vaccines till next appt? He is totally up to date on all the shots, so I am not concerned about putting this one shot off a couple weeks/months.
