My DD is starting solid food. We are interested in purchasing a travel booster chair that we could use at home too, since our home is tight on space. She is quite active. DD has managed to squirm her way to the top of her booster seat and flip out of it. Sigh! DD is 5mon old and 27in. We would prefer a booster seat with a 5pt harness, one we can use on the ground/carpet too. Any recommendation? Pros/Cons to consider?

We are afraid of using high chair after hearing of friends telling us their kids have climbed out. But was interested in the Evenflo Baby Go High Chair since it has the 5pt harness. Does anyone have experience with it?

Also, are there any that are bpa free?

Thank you for your help.

I have a regular high chair at home....five point harness and a good size tray.....the chicco polly........actually i think all high chairs now have a five point harness....
For travel we have a fisher price travel booster.......love love it...but it only have a three point harness....now granted I wouldn't walk away from my DD while she was in this travel chair, so I don't worry about the three point vs. five point.....it attaches to the back of a chair and under a chair....but I would would not sit it on the ground...way too unstable for that...don't know of a highchair that would be safe for that.
Fisher price also makes a space saver high chair that you could also use for travel pretty well I think...

We have the Fisher Price booster seat similar to this (http://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/product.asp?order_num=-1&SKU=14995706) and it's so easy to bring around. FYI - you can use your 20% OFF BED BATH AND BEYOND coupon as well.

I have that Fisher Price "booster seat" for our at-home high chair. But I don't find it at all easy to carry when out and about -- it takes up a lot of space. (And our son stopped fitting into the 5-pt harness at about 18 months, though he still uses it)

We've got a smaller, foldable one. Fisher Price Healthy Choice Booster Seat (similar to http://www.fisher-price.com/fp.aspx?st=2002&e=storeproduct&pid=46520) -- but won't use it at home when we need the tray because the tray on it is really small. We got this used for a good price.

I don't know of a high chair that would be safe on the floor. I'm afraid they'd go over backwards.
