how do you keep the table cloth on the table?

we just bought a newish table that *needs* a table cloth (the table is great, but the color is a little to orange for our kitchen).

dd2 pulls on everything, including the new table cloth. how do we keep her from pulling it off... along with everything else on the table?

I had a big fruit bowl full of fruit and that kept them from totally removing it easily, but we ended up taking it off because it got dirty *so quickly* that washing it become basically impossible.

We have one of those printed vinyl tablecloths in the kitchen. I still haven't figured out how to keep it on/centered. DD doesn't pull it off, but does move it around. If you figure it out, let me know!

so i couldn't find anything at target, fred meyer or home depot... other than hanging weights, like you'd use to keep the wind from blowing a tablecloth off a picnic table.

amazon had a number of options when searching for tablecloth clips or clamps. the shipping costs more than the item in most cases
