Anyone used mosquito plug in?

Has anyone used mosquito plug in? I am really concerned that my 4-month old will get bitten at night. We leave bight lights on at the summer house and it is on a pond. Mosquitos are horrible there! I am trying to figure ot a solution which does not involve spraying my child with chemicals :)
Found a plug in version (see link below), but not sure whether it is safe and/or effective. Anyone? Thanks a lot!
