Ok, if there is a limit to posts in a day I'm about to hit it. :D I'm looking for headphones suitable for a toddler. I was thinking I can just put the earbuds for my ipod near DS so he can hear it, but wondering if there is a better option out there. TIA

One of my friends has a pair of really flexible headphones. I think they're called iFrogz or iTadpoles or something like that. My DD has a pair of plastic JVC ones that fold up so they're compact. And they're small enough to fit her head!

we have the Tadpole headphones from iFrogz

they fit my 2.5 yo DD well and she likes them. We also have the pair that came with the accessory pack for the FP DVD player, but she doesn't like those as much.

We just got dollar store ones. Honestly, I wouldn't spend a lot of money -- my girls try to bend them in every way manageable. Also, they only like the "headband" style ones, not the ear buds.

DD's DVD player came with a cheapo set of headphones. It was hard to hear anything above the noise of the airplane. I went on a hunt for a better set and came up with these http://www.amazon.com/Kidz-Gear-Headphones-For-Kids/dp/B0007NWL70/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1245542410&sr=8-1
They are super. They have a seperate volume control right on the wire. DD has no problem using it and likes that she can control it herself. Last time we took a plane trip I tried it out and had no trouble hearing the movie, and had room left to turn it up if need be. Plus they're comfy and very adjustable. I don't know if I'd feel good puting a set of earbuds in my daugher's ears.

We love the Caliphone Listening First ones! They are comfortable, sturdy and inexpensive. Also, DS likes being able to adjust the volume on the headphones. (It gives him a sense of control, but I control the volume by setting it on the player and making sure that it's not too loud on the headphones' highest setting, if that makes sense.)

These look great! Do they have some sort of volume control on them-is there a function that stops kids from turning the volume up too much?

TIA!!

We had a pair of these that I bought at Best Buy for our trip to NY last month and somehow we lost them during the trip. They were a great size, though. I think I will probably replace them with the iFrogz, though, since they are quite a bit less expensive.
