At what age did you go down to 3 bottles per day? Right now my girls are just over 10 months and doing:
6am bottle
8am breakfast cereal & fruit NAP
10:30/11am bottle
12:30pm lunch (yogurt or veggies & rice/pasta sometimes w/meat) NAP
2:30/3pm bottle
5:30 dinner beef or chicken, various veggies with a grain (pasa, rice etc.)
6:30/6:45 bottle
They will drink anywhere from 6-8oz. Sometimes as little as 4 or 5. They will do a full 8oz bottle MAYBE once a day. I think they are ready for 3 bottles. They never refuse a solids meal. While they never refuse a bottle, they are probably only doing 25 oz TOPS on a good day.
I'd like to start the day with breakfast and do the bottles before naps & bedtime. My only concern with this is that the bottles would be very soon after their solids meals and they might not drink them. For example they do lunch around 12:30pm and nap at 1pm. I really don't see them drinking that 1pm bottle. What do you suggest as far as timing? They wake up early (5/5:30) and are in bed anytime between 6:30/7pm (for my own sanity). They NEED their naps at 8am and 1pm.
THANK YOU!
