from the ad...

"The chair is in excellent, gently used condition, purchased 3.5 years ago." It is the older style that does not have the baby rail, but it works great from about 8-9 months through adulthood. It has a 3 point harness. The chair is the honey toned wood.

they are asking $150. does this seem a bit high for a kinderzeat? maybe i'm delusional, but i was thinking that's what a used tripp trapp would go for. i would prefer having a baby rail, but this is the first stokke i've seen listed for sale.

I've seen Kinderzeats sell for $150 here in the SF Bay Area and TTs go for $200. And they disappear on the same day, so it seems to be a fair price in this area.

What's the difference between the 2?

What's the difference between the 2?

my understanding is that the newer tripp trapp has a 5 point harness (as opposed to the 3 point harness on the phased out kinderzeat) and you can add a baby bar/rail thing to it.

The current version of the seat is now $250 retail, so that's not too bad.

I would offer $100 and see what they say. Hopefully they'd meet you halfway at $125. If I were the seller, I would.
