Difference between Inglesina Zippy 2006, 2007 & 2008?

Hi all,

I'm new here, but really need some stroller advice! I'm really considering the Inglesina Zippy. I need a stroller with a flat fold for my newborn, and I love all the other features of the Zippy as well - huge canopy, the fold, non-tippiness, etc.

I can't afford the 2009 model, and obviously the 2006 is the cheapest right now, but I've seen the 2008 model on ebay for a good price as well. I'm wondering what the differences are between the 06, 07, & 08 models. Are there any upgrades that I would really miss out on by purchasing the 2006 model?

Nothing is coming to mind right now. The only changes were color, really.

I think the major change was from 2005 to 2006 when stuff got added. But, I think 2006 Zippys had the snack tray and everything else.

I have a 2008 and I've compared it to a 2007. The differences were the larger canopy and a pad around the buckle in the crotch area in the 2008. I paid only $200 for my 2008 (new) so I know that you can get a great deal if you look. I love the zippy although I'm constantly looking to downgrade. but i just can't give up the fab features so it looks like I'll be keeping it for a while.

Where did you find it for $200? That's a great deal! The best I've seen for a 2008 is around $260 (used) or $280 new.

So is the canopy a great deal bigger? It had a pretty large canopy to begin with, didn't it?

I think the 2006 should be fine. We got the 2005.5 in the year 2006 and got it quite cheap - $225. No regrets - it's a fantastic stroller. I picked based on the colors I liked - make sure you get something you're going to like for a long time!
