We have a Nemo ice pack:

It sprung a leak today and the gel is all over the kitchen floor. I have tried everything imaginable to remove it but there is still a slippery mess all over the floor. I have tried dish soap, salt, diaper wipes, you name it! What else can I try?

Thanks!

How about something powdery like baking soda or baby powder?

I like this idea... or flour? Ugh, sounds like a mess. GL!

what about something like goo gone? Or a degreaser of some kind

Cat litter? I've heard of it being used to absorb automotive oil leaks/spills.

I also would second the idea of something like goo gone. What a mess! I wouldn't have thought something like that would be so hard to clean up.

Corn starch.

Did anything work for you, Marina?

In the end a lot of scrubbing and time did the trick. I like the corn starch/baking soda suggestion and would have used it next. The stuff inside was weird - gooey and slick, ant it didn't stick to a paper towel. It seemed to be really silicone-y or something like it. Just strangely slippery!?
